Privado's Smart Route feature provides you with personalized control over your app's Internet traffic. You can choose which specific apps use your local Internet connection and which ones utilize the secure VPN tunnel.

Log into the Privado app and navigate to the 'Settings': 

Find the 'Smart Route' tab and tailor the routing for specific apps to run outside the VPN tunnel:

1.  Click on 'Smart Route'. 
2.  Toggle the slider to 'On'. 
3. Click the arrow next to the 'Application' to expand the app selection option.
4.  Click 'Add apps' and tick the box near the ones that you want to use your local Internet connection:

In our example, we made Google Chrome run outside the VPN. Finish by clicking 'Add selected': 

Now, the Smart Route feature is set up to allow a specific app to use your local Internet connection while running all others through the VPN. 

If you would like to undo this preference, click on '—' next to the selected app:
